Wellington U-18 3 Stourport Swifts U-18 2
EARLY and late goals earned Wellington a thrilling win in the Midland Floodlit Youth League Southern Division.
Wellington got away to a flying start with their fastest ever goal after Rob Parsons beat three defenders and crossed for Cory Hyde to score.
Parsons almost added a second before the Wellington defence twice got themselves in a tangle to allow the visitors to take a 2-1 half-time lead.
Wellington were in no mood to be beaten, however, and, after Mike Craig had gone close, Hyde made a great turn to fire in the equaliser.
Then, with just seconds remaining, Parsons dispossessed a Stourport defender and crossed for Mark Davies to slam home the winner.
