DAVID Piears and Patrick Taylor take to The Courtyard stage next month as the ugly sisters in Herefordshire Amateur Pantomime Society's Cinderella.
Both long-service members, their talent has contributed to the smooth run up to this year's show.
But there has been one bump in the otherwise smooth schedule.
Two weeks ago production choreographer Amanda Evans, who was dancing until September, gave birth to baby girl Mhia.
Proud grandmother and HAPS president, Janet Williams, said: "With a birth weight of 4lb 10oz, she is extremely active. I think she's going to be a dancer like her mum!"
Luckily for Amanda, she had two other company members - Steven and Trudy Taylor - assisting her with the choreography.
The cast met the new addition last week, though she will have to join the company's waiting list as young members need to be at least eight years old.
"It's very much a family society," said Janet, who is juggling the joys of new grandparenthood with keeping the HAP'S helm firmly on course for opening night.
Involved with pantomime in Hereford for 40 years, people know she will have the answer to most panto-related posers.
Tackling Cinderella for the second time in its 21-year history, this year's production stars company-grown Nicole Dillon in the title role.
A pupil at The Bishop of Hereford's Bluecoat School, she last appeared in the company's 2000 production of Goldilocks, and is a keen member of Hereford Academy of Dance.
Taking a lead for the first time, Will Skelton joined the company's chorus for last year's Aladdin and enjoyed himself so much that he's back this year as Buttons.
Muriel Smith, who has historically taken smaller animal parts, also steps up to take the lead role of Dandini.
"She has a splendid ability for moving on stage," Janet said.
Taking a lead for the second time - as the fairy godmother - Clare McFarlane has been juggling rehearsals with planning her December wedding.
Familiar face, and regular lead, Tina Virgo plays Prince Charming.
l Cinderella plays at Hereford's Courtyard venue during half-term, February 14-21. To book call 01432 359252.
