Bromyard'S archery club is challenging local darts teams to an unusual contest.
The Bromyard Bowmen are holding an archery darts competition to raise funds for the Froome Bank residential home at the Royal Oak on Bromyard Downs next Friday (January 23) at 7pm.
Darts teams will use a normal dart board but the archers will be shooting their arrows at a larger dart board from 15 yards away.
Archer Richard Langridge said: "We have tried to make it an evening with a difference that will raise some money for a good cause."
Teams are still needed to enter the competition and individuals can be paired up and play against a pair of archers so anyone can join in.
If space and time permit there will be a chance to buy three arrows for £1 and have a go at archery. A raffle and smaller competitions will complete the fun.
Tickets are £4 in advance, from club secretary Jill Ison on 01885 482575 or £5 on the door.
