Details of this summer's visit by John Masefield High School's jazz band to Ledbury's twin town of Stromstad, in Sweden, have been announced.
The visit will take place from Tuesday, August 24 to Saturday, August 28, and flight tickets have now been booked on behalf of 25 people, including 19 band members, who are aged between 13 and 19.
The party will be flying out by Ryan Air from Stansted Airport, on cheap return tickets.
Twinning group spokesman Spencer Lane said: "It is proposed the trip should cost the jazz band members no more than £50.
"Liaison between Stromstad and Ledbury is now taking place, with the itinerary for the trip in the process of being confirmed.
"It is anticipated that all group members will be hosted with Stromstad families.
"A list providing the names, ages and instruments played by each individual member of the band has been sent out to Stromstad, for them to start securing suitable hosts."
Staff members on the trip will include the school's head of music Roger Brown.
A fund is to be set up to help facilitate youth projects between the twinned towns.
Businessman Adam Munthe, who lives at Hellens, Much Marcle, has confirmed his offer of £1,000 in support of the fund.
The next meeting of the twinning group is at Ledbury Market House on January 26, from 7.30pm.
