THERE must be very few who are not aware of the distress suffered by the British farming industry during the BSE problems, and its link with recycled animal bone tissues.
In July I wrote to MP Paul Keetch, bringing to his attention the fact most of the world, led by the USA, were continuing to use these materials, and thereal probability by-products involving them were entering our country.
In view of the BSE outbreak in the US I feel this issue warrants both the public's and the farming industry's attention.
