WEST Midlands Leaguers Ledbury gained a comprehensive victory over Hellenic League Division 1 West opponents Ross in their HFA County Challenge Cup semi-final meeting.
Ross started with some neat football but found themselves a goal down after 13 minutes when Nick Stockley finished with precision after being set up by Nick Walsh.
This was the pattern of the game as Ross promised well but were given a lesson in finishing by the sharp visiting forwards.
Duncan Preedy and Robbie Colwell went close for Ledbury, and at the other end Stuart Park almost levelled with a thundering strike, only to be denied by a superb save from young goalkeeper Adam Penny.
The floodgates suddenly opened with Ledbury adding a further four goals before the break and Ross only responding once.
Colwell put central defender Marc Green through for a second goal and then turned sharply in the box to beat two defenders and drilling home a low drive.
Ross hit back with Jamie Warwick finding the target with a crisp volley, but goals from Preedy and Colwell effectively settled the tie before the break.
Ledbury used their substitutes after the interval but Green strode through the middle to bag his second goal and complete the scoring.
