FILM fans will be interested to see a screening of Lucas Belvaux's Trilogy series which commences this evening at The Courtyard.
Presented in three entirely different cinematic styles, unfolding over a 24-hour period and working on the principle of cross encounters, the three feature films fit together as an exploration of love, violence, drugs and money.
This audacious triptych, in which the main characters in one film have minor roles in the others, has been described as "the cinematic event of the year...a completely unmissable adventure" by Total Film and "a work of staggering virtuosity" by Sight and Sound.
Trilogy: One runs in the main house tonight. Trilogy:Two runs in the main house on January 27 and Trilogy:Three plays for two nights in the studio on February 13 and 14. To book call 01432 359252.
