HEREFORD United manager Graham Turner has moved to bolster his goalkeeping options with the capture of Ben Scott from Sheffield United.
The 19-year-old was recommended to Turner and will be given the chance to impress during a month's loan period, although he will be number two to first choice 'keeper Matt Baker.
Scott has had experience with Gainsborough Trinity and in the reserves at Bramall Lane but with his opportunities restricted Turner was prepared to offer him a chance at Edgar Street.
"We will see how it goes in the next month but we were told he was a decent 'keeper so we are going to have a good look at him," added Turner.
Scott is likely to be on the bench when the Bulls open their Nationwide Conference programme at Tamworth on Saturday. Turner is waiting on the fitness of new boys Jordan King and David Brown.
