HOOLIGANS are threatening to undermine Hereford United's success on the football field.
Bulls' manager Graham Turner fears the FA could hit the Edgar Street club with a points deduction or heavy fine if they fail to eradicate the problem which has dogged their progress this season.
In the latest incident around 30 fans spilled on to the pitch at Burton Albion and attacked Brewers' fans in the Pop Stand.
"We are co-operating with the police to try and identify the culprits at Burton," said Turner.
"It's taking up a lot of our time and it is very worrying. Sooner or later the FA will take some action against us because you've got to be seen to control your own supporters."
The club has promised to ban anyone found encroaching on the pitch.
