ALL the omens point to a Hereford United victory against Dagenham & Redbridge in front of the Sky cameras at Edgar Street tonight.

Sky have proved a lucky charm for the Bulls, who have lost just once in six televised appearances in recent years, while Garry Hill's Daggers have picked up just four points from a possible 18 on the road.

Victory for Nationwide Conference leaders Hereford will move them four points clear of rivals Chester City, who were 2-1 winners over Woking at the weekend.

Despite Dagenham's indifferent start to the season, which has seen them collect 15 points from 13 games, Bulls' manager Graham Turner is under no illusion just what a difficult test Hill's side can provide.

"Garry has made some big changes to his playing staff over the summer, adding some decent Conference players to what he already had and the result is a squad that will be in contention at the end of the season," said Turner.

"They could do something similar to last year when they strung a run of eleven victories together to get into a play-off position and they have the personnel in there to do just that.

"We have got to make sure that we still keep them in the bottom half of the table and that is by taking the three points."

Hereford's summer signing, Ryan Green, will be anxious to impress the watching audience in TV land, not least Welsh boss Mark Hughes.

While a teenager at Wolves Green was the youngest player to represent Wales at 17 and would love to pull on the red jersey once again.

"Graham Turner has taken a chance on me so I am very grateful for the opportunity to show what I can do," said Green.

"This is definitely last chance saloon for me. I was nearly out of a job in the summer and it has made me appreciate football a lot more.

" I think I will have to get back into Division One to get picked for Wales again, but I am only 23 and haven't ruled it out. Hopefully we can win promotion this season."

Defender Andy Tretton could be included in the squad after recovering from a thigh problem but on-loan West Bromwich Albion centre-back Tamika Mkandawire is expected to continue alongside Tony James.

FORMCAST: Bulls to win 3-1.
