A HEREFORDSHIRE grandmother is calling eyes down for a children's charity in memory of her grandson.
Bingo buff Carol Hill from Leominster plans to hold games to raise funds for the Acorns Children's Hospice that cared for her seven-year-old grandson Stephen before his death.
Carol is doing all she can to help other life-limited children like Stephen, who became ill with an incurable dystrophy illness at the age of three, by supporting the £4 million Three Counties Appeal. She has already raised nearly £500 towards the new hospice to be built in Worcester.
Tomorrow, Friday, Carol holds her third bingo evening at the Community Rooms in Ivington, near Leominster, from 7pm. She is also drumming up support and collecting prizes for games on June 13 at Kingsland village hall and July 9 at Burley Gate.
Anyone who would like to donate a bingo prize can contact Carol on 01568 612915.
