RAVERS at a popular festival disco will be digging out their flares this weekend even though the annual festivities are not going ahead.
Ross-on-Wye will be grooving to the sounds of the 70's at the Prince of Wales pub on Saturday, thanks to festival organisers, and raising money for Acorns Children's Hospice.
Organiser, Jan Ayers, said: "As there isn't a Ross International Festival this summer a few of us have got together to put this event on for the town. The festival's 70's night always sells out, so we decided a themed disco would be a good idea."
Jan, who is the festival's box office manager, said she had offered tickets to charities in the past and hopes the disco will be the first of many events to continue the link.
The evening starts at 7.30pm and tickets are available from Crows Feet, Cantilupe Road, Ross, phone 01989 763698 or ring Jan on 01989 563403.
