LEADERS Hereford United return to Nationwide Conference league action tonight with a trip to Accrington Stanley (7.45).
The two clubs enjoyed contrasting fortunes in the FA Cup first round at the weekend with the Bulls losing 2-0 to Second Division Peterborough United, while Stanley grabbed a stoppage time winner against Third Division Huddersfield Town.
Bulls' boss Graham Turner will be looking for a return to form after a dip in results which has them take just two points from a possible nine.
The Edgar Street still possess a formidable away record -- the best in the division -- which has brought five wins and just one defeat in eight, but promoted Stanley have also adapted well to the rigours of the Conference.
The Reds currently lie in seventh spot with just two league defeats in their last 10 matches.
Hereford midfielder Ben Smith acknowledges it will be a test but is banking on an extra day's rest over their hosts to make a difference.
"They've come up and done really well and our league form has been a bit patchy lately," said Smith.
"But Accrington will have had only had 48 hours rest since they beat Huddersfield so if we can get into them, we can get the result that we need."
FORMCAST: United to win 2-1.
