COPPERS were pooled and coffee drank by members of Hereford City Townswomen's Guild after taking a county charity to their hearts.
The ladies have raised £250 for Acorns Three Counties Appeal through donating their own money and hosting coffee mornings and other events.
"This year Acorns Children's Hospice has caught people's imaginations considerably in this area. We are happy to do our bit towards it and hope our members will continue to raise money privately," said guild chairman, Valerie Scarisbrick.
