FORTY friends have feasted on a lunch of Herefordshire's finest produce and raised more than £1,500 for Acorns Children's Hospice.
Cooked by Kate Harvey and Louise Anton at Upper Whyle House, Pudleston, the menu included fine cheeses, wines, chocolates, spring vegetables and meat from around the county.
"To tie in with the Three Counties Appeal, the lunch was made up from the finest local produce, sourced from local dairies, farms and growers. We are extremely grateful to everyone who supported us by coming to the lunch, making a donation to Acorns or by kindly donating some of the wonderful food and drink for the lunch and raffle prizes," said Kate and Louise.
