Twenty young people between the ages of 13 to 17 from Hereford and Worcester are mid-way through an exhilarating two weeks making their own short films with the assistance of The Rural Media Company.
"The Film School Summer School offers young people the chance of a lifetime," says director Adrian Lambert.
"Not only do they have the opportunity to act in a professionally shot short film, but they are also learning how to use the latest digital cameras, editing software and sound equipment to produce their very own movie."
Premiere
Martha Twigg, one of the Film School Summer School participants said: "What we have done so far has been really interesting.
"We are working in small groups and creating storyboards to music. The music keeps changing tempo and our ideas then change with the music."
The finished films will be given the flavour of a big film premiere when they are shown at The Odeon in Hereford on August 31.
"It's fantastic to have the support of The Odeon for this project," says Adrian. "It means that our cast can enjoy the results of all their hard work in the right setting."
The summer school concludes tomorrow (August 1).
