FOR those who need to borrow a book or DVD, exercise in the gym and then surf the net, the newly-opened Bromyard Centre can offer the full range of facilities under one roof.
After undergoing an £800,000 development programme, the site on the former Bromyard Leisure Centre was officially opened on Tuesday.
The multipurpose Cruxwell Street building will now act as a library, youth club, tourist information office, gymnasium and advice centre.
Jeremy Alder, Herefordshire Council's libraries operations manager, said: "All the staff are genuinely looking forward to the challenge that this project provides with all the increased opening hours, the new computer suite, working alongside various partners and dealing with hosts of wide-ranging enquiries."
