A MAN was killed in a crash on the A49 between Much Birch and Harewood end on Tuesday night.
The 47-year-old, who has not yet been named, was at the wheel of a Mazda 323 GTI, which was in collision with an articulated Mercedes lorry at about 11.30pm. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
In another accident, a motorcyclist died on the A417 on the Herefordshire border with Gloucestershire last Friday evening.
Patrick Paul Brennan, aged 40, from Gloucester, was travelling from Ledbury when his Kawasaki bike and a Citroen Saxo heading in the opposite direction were in collision near Hartpury. Police are appealing for witnesses to both crashes.
