Hereford staged a fine second-half fightback to claim a 3-3 draw against Gloucester who fielded a mixture of second and third team players.
Gloucester benefited from some sloppy Hereford defending in the early stages to race into a two-goal half-time lead.
Hereford quickly reduced arrears with a fine shot by Jess Lambert from the edge of the D but the home side were then caught on the break as Gloucester restored the two-goal advantage.
Captain Claire Butler pulled one back with a well-worked move following a short corner and Philippa Cardy grabbed the equaliser as Hereford shared the honours.
