Shipston on Stour 6 pts Ledbury 11
Ledbury produced an inspired performance to defeat a confident Shipston team for their fourth win in Midlands 3 West South.
Ledbury took an early lead when Henry Blandford scored his first try of the season after a great break from full-back Pete Elkington.
The first half continued with Ledbury looking the better team, but at half- time, despite having the advantage of a huge slope, they were only 5-3 up.
Ledbury continued to battle hard and Steve Green stole three scrummages against the head.
Darren Lynch and Russ Putland controlled defence and winger Lee Douglas provided an attacking threat every time he had the ball as Ledbury's work rate told on the tiring home side.
For Ledbury to win, it came down to the ever reliable boot of Barrett Price who slotted over two pressure penalties.
Winger Ollie Kaye came on with 10 minutes remaining to chalk up his 200th first-team game.
