Ledbury Rugby Club's first XV are hoping to turn the corner of their Midlands Three West (South) season tomorrow (Saturday) when they visit Shipston-on-Stour.
An unsettled Ledbury lost 26-10 at home to Shipston on the opening Saturday of the season. They followed this with a 46-15 defeat at high-flying Stratford before roaring to a 59-13 victory against visiting Southam, one of only two teams presently below Ledbury in the league table.
Present basement-club Keresley were defeated 26-8 away as Ledbury started to pick up but a string of five defeats followed before a home 20-17 victory against Leominster.
Two more defeats have followed and Ledbury really need to get more points on the board to pull away from the bottom.
Shipston are presently one place above Ledbury in the table but are six points clear.
