The recent Carols in the Pub evening at the Beauchamp Arms, the community-owned pub in Dymock raised more than £250 for Cancer Research.
Event spokesman Vi Chester said: "The evening was dedicated to John Hobby, a regular at the pub and well-loved in the village, who died of cancer this year.
"Our many thanks go to all those who took part and contributed to this very successful evening."
The right notes were sounded by five members of the Bretforton Silver Band, and there were readings of poems written and presented by local people.
