HEREFORD United's leading goalscorer Steve Guinan was a welcome visitor at St Mary's High School, Lugwardine last week.
The 18-goal striker called in to present officially the £1,000-worth of Umbro kit he was awarded after being voted the FA's player-of-the-round following his hat-trick in the Bulls' 6-1 win at Harrow Borough in the fourth qualifying round.
Guinan can also point to something in common with the youngsters who joined him for the photocall - he, too, was taught by St Mary's deputy head teacher Paul Shannon when he was a pupil at Hagley Catholic School in Stourbridge.
