FC PHOENIX Under-14 girls returned to winning ways in the Central Warwickshire under-14 league with 2-1 win against Solihull Borough Girls.
Phoenix trailed at the interval but hit back to level through Chelsey Snead after fine work by Leya Lathem.
Inspired by player-of-the-match Lindsey Wadelin and by some fine goalkeeping from Natalie Hill, Phoenix grabbed the win in the last minute with a goal from Simone Quinn.
Phoenix's under-12 girls had a less successful weekend, bowing out of the Mercian League Cup at the first round stage with a 3-0 defeat at Pershore.
