A 17-year-old student died when her blue Citroen Saxo was involved in a collision with a blue Renault Clio on the A417 at Parkway, near Ledbury, at about 5.40pm last Saturday.
Emma Hole, a pupil at Sir Thomas Rich's School in Longlevens, was travelling towards Gloucester when her vehicle was involved in a collision with a car travelling in the opposite direction.
The accident occurred at Parkway, two miles from Ledbury, and the 17-year-old from Hartpury, the only occupant of the blue Citroen Saxo, was certified dead at the scene.
The two occupants of the blue Renault Clio, a male and female from Herefordshire, suffered minor injuries.
Fire, Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene and traffic diversions were put in place for five hours.
