SCHOOL - Class 5 recently went orienteering at Michaelchurch. This activity was great fun whilst greatly improving their map-reading skills. A Tai-Chi taster session was held for KS2 pupils. This was an opportunity to be introduced to this ancient art that aids concentration and focus. It is hoped more lessons will be held in the New Year. On November 24, Class 5 joined by the Eco-committee, took part in an Eco-action afternoon throughout the school. This was a very rewarding afternoon. Each class now has their own recycling bin for collecting materials for use in school - plastic bottles, material, corks and cereal packets. The school also has a special collection bin for old printer cartridges. There is a new coach for the After School Football Club which will resume in the New Year. The pupils are very much looking forward to this. Children in Need Day was a success raising £108 from wear what you like day, donations and Pudsey's Jar. A big thank you has gone out to all those who supported our Christmas Fayre in so many ways.
