TWO students from overseas, are so delighted with a Herefordshire market town they are appealing for host families so they can complete their studies.
Max Ernst and Somrat Khumpibal are studying for their AS Levels at Lady Hawkins' School in Kington.
Their year-long stay has been organised by international non-profit organisation, AFS but the students' temporary host families cannot provide accommodation for the entire period of their stay.
Sixteen-year-old Max Ernst is from a Lutheran family who live in a small village in Germany and he is keen on hiking and sports.
Somrat Khumpibal (who prefers to be called Fai) is also 16 and from a Buddhist family in Thailand. She enjoys music and playing the piano.
During their year in the UK, they live with a host family, attend school full-time and learn about different cultures and alternative lifestyles.
Temporary host families for Max and Fai say they are wonderful young people and they are a pleasure to host but they are unable to provide the students with accommodation until the end of their courses.
Both young people really want to stay at Lady Hawkins' to continue studying for their AS Levels until the end of their programme in July next year.
