THE cancellation of the Tideway Scullers Head resulted in a record -breaking entry of over 600 for the Walton-on-Thames Small Boats Head last Saturday.
Dilwyn's Daniel Middleton joined his London contingent from Tideway Scullers to contest the junior 13 doubles with clubmate Lenny Lambert. The two experienced juniors quickly sculled through their age group opponents and repeated the feat against the junior 14.
All but a double from St George's College fell in the junior 15, the Herefordshire boy and his partner winning their division medals by a clear two minutes.
