THE December meeting of the Whitecross Townswomen's Guild was party time. The chairman announced that as from January 2004, the monthly meeting would commence at 7pm instead of 7.15pm. Two members from Tupsley and two from the City Guilds were welcomed to the party. The competition for a Christmas Decoration was won by Margaret Somerfield with Jean Morris second and Louise Boughton third. The raffle was won by Barbara Reynolds. Finally and June Timson read a selection of humorous verses. The next meeting will be on January 7, at 7pm, at Holy Trinity Institute, Whitecross Road, Hereford.
