CRUEL events parted a Hereford mother from her nine-week-old baby girl who died of natural causes, an inquest heard.
County coroner David Halpern said new parents, Catherine Fletcher and Steve Evans 'did everything right' and losing their baby 'was a cruel event'.
Miss Fletcher found Stephanie, had stopped breathing at their home in River View, Putson on July 22.
Mr Halpern said she had been well looked after and had no physical or health problems.
Addressing Miss Fletcher and Mr Evans, he added: "The two of you had been looking after her very well - I don't think there was anything you could have done to avert it."
Dr Nik Ostojic, a pathologist from Birmingham Women's Hospital, confirmed Stephanie Catherine Evans died of bio-lateral pneumonia.
