A CITY nursery school has been saved at the 'eleventh hour' after its leader was forced to step down due to ill-health.
The Mr Men Nursery in Eign Street, Hereford will not be closing at the end of the term as first thought, when leader, Alison Chandler was forced to step down. Penny Boucher has now taken over with the full support of OFSTED.
She said: "It is all a little daunting, I admit, but it seems such a shame to let such a valuable community service fold when it has been running for so many years."
Places are available for the new term and for further information call 07780 878467.
