A LEDBURY woman who stole from her employers is to have almost £28,000 confiscated from the sale of her house.
At Gloucester Crown Court, Judge Jamie Tabor QC ruled that Susan Kendall, 35, had benefited from her crimes to the tune of £27,894.
He said this money must be forfeited by Kendall when her £218,500 home in Farjeon Close is sold. If she fails to pay she faces an 18-month jail sentence.
Kendall was working as manager of Somerfield supermarket in Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham, when she fiddled the books and stole from the takings. She was jailed for 12 months in May, after it emerged that she had awarded herself an annual £5,000 raise by forging a senior executive's signature.
Kendall pleaded guilty to two charges of theft, two of false accounting and one of using a false statement with intent to deceive.
