Kington Town 9 Wednesfield 2
HAT-TRICKS from Carl Morgan and Mark Davis kept up Kington's West Midlands League Premier Division challenge as they outplayed visiting Wed-nesfield to complete a league double.
They dominated from the off and went two up after only 10 minutes, the ball breaking kindly for Chris King to fire home from eight yards and Davis picking up a King through pass to notch the second goal.
Wednesfield stemmed the tide for a while but Davis was on hand to tap the ball home after Morgan had made a fine run down the right.
The visitors hit back with a good strike from 25 yards, but Kington restored their three-goal lead when the dangerous Morgan made a superb run down the right to beat a couple of defenders before cutting in to hit the target with a blistering, left-footed drive.
After the break Morgan completed his hat-trick with two swift goals, and Davis followed suit with a neat header from a Morgan cross.
Wednesfield bagged a second goal, but Ben Chambers finished off an emphatic victory with a late brace to keep Kington in a challenging second place in the league table.
