Bromyard Town 4 Wolves United 3
ALTHOUGH not giving their best performance of the season, debutant Alex Kilgour and Justin Ballinger bagged braces as Bromyard battled back to continue the improvement which has lifted them into the top half of the West Midlands League Premier Division table.
Bromyard were boosted in the 15th minute when ex-Stourport Swifts striker Kilgour flicked the ball home following an Adie Crowther corner.
Two bad defensive mistakes then gifted Wolves soft goals, centre-back Richard Fassnidge missing a header for the first and the back four failing to clear a corner for number two.
A good interval talking-to saw Bromyard start the second period with far more purpose, but they fell two goals adrift after 10 minutes when a sweet Wolves move produced a fine goal.
Ballinger started the fight-back with a powerful drive, and then levelled when he headed home after a superb build-up and cross from the outstanding Crowther.
With all to play for Bromyard took control and deservedly claimed the points when Kilgour met a weak clearance just outside the box with a powerful volley which flew into the top corner.
