FC PHOENIX under-14 girls suffered their first home defeat in two years when they went down 4-2 to Redditch in the Central Warwickshire League Under-14 Division.
Phoenix's goals came from Emily Lovelock and Lia Latham.
There was better news for Phoenix, however, when their under-12 side continued to make the pace at the top of the Mercian League with a 3-2 win at Ferndale.
Demi Edwards found the net twice with the other goal coming from Rebecca Panniers.
Eighteen girls' sides turned out at Hereford Leisure Centre for a tournament featuring competitions at under-12, under-14 and under-16 level.
Bromyard took the title from FC Phoenix at under-12 level on penalties, 3-2, after the game finished scoreless and Phoenix suffered the same fate in the under-14 competition where Leominster came away with the trophy.
Phoenix gained some measure of revenge, however, in the under-16 competition where they won the trophy after beating Leominster 2-0 in the final.
