Young poets at Newent Community School are busy putting pen to paper for a joint poetry project with their Kenyan link school. The hope is that a complete book, featuring the work of poets from both schools, will be the end result. There will be a ceildh, to raise funds for the Kenya link, at the school on Saturday, December 6, from 7.30pm. Tickets from the school are £5 each.
