A CONCERT held in St Peter's Church, Bromyard, on Friday raised £1,786 for St Michael's Hospice.
The Last Night of the Proms featured performances from Herefordshire Youth Concert Band, which played pieces including Out of Africa by John Barry and Ol' Blue Eyes, numbers from the Frank Sinatra years arranged by Jerry Brubaker.
The Leominster Schools' Choir sang a range of music including We've Come This Far by Lin Marsh and Rhythm of Life by Cy Coleman.
Organiser Sylvia Jenkins said she was overwhelmed by the success of the event.
