Crew members of HMS Ledbury spent a day to remember in Much Marcle, thanks to the hospitality of Weston's Cider.
Chief Petty Officer Andy Price had expressed a special interest in visiting the vintage cider makers, and the company was delighted to receive him and six other crew members on Thursday.
They were given lunch in the Walwyn Arms, washed down with Old Rosie cider, followed by a dray ride to the mill and around the Weston's site, in an autumn downpour.
Weston's marketing manager Jules Schad said: "They were soaked, but they are used to that. They had a lovely time."
Afterwards, the party dried off with supper at the Scrumpy House.
