ThE 1st Eastnor Brownies are looking forward to a creative New Year, now Ledbury Town Council has provided them with boxes of arts and crafts equipment worth more than £440.
Jackie Bursnell, who has been Brown Owl for 34 years, said: "We're a fundraising organisation, surviving on fundraising and the children's subs. This gift from the town council is very welcome and very exciting.
"It will change what we do in that there will be more arts and crafts."
The 1st Eastnor Brownies, who meet at St Katherine's Hall, are a thriving group with 30 members on their books.
The boxes of pencils, crayons, cards and other materials were examined by the youngsters on Tuesday, when they arrived.
