HEREFORDSHIRE Sports Council will mark 25 years of supporting sport in the county at their autumn council meeting at Hereford's Royal National College for the Blind on Thursday, December 4.
The meeting, which is open to everyone, will offer the chance to hear from two speakers who will tell of the benefits of encouraging sport from a young age.
Terry Mason will tell of the cricketing links between club and schools and Jo Jones, the business manager of Ready Steady Win, will highlight the efforts of her organisation in raising funds for young county sports people.
