ALAN Pemberton set off from Herefordshire with a shotgun driven to despair at an imminent divorce.
The 48-year-old financier is said to have been staying on and off with friends in Bromsash, near Ross-on-Wye, since separating from his wife a year ago.
She was the second victim of a shooting trail Mr Pemberton went on at Hermitage, Berkshire. The first blast killed the couple's teenage son, William. The last ended Mr Pemberton's own life. Armed Police stormed the house after a six-hour siege on November 18.
Crime teams are investigating the scene in advance of an inquest.
Thames Valley Police will say only that the weapon was licensed in Herefordshire and had not been stolen.
