Bromyard Town 3 Wolverhampton Casuals 0
AFTER failing to score against Wednesfield last week, Bromyard were grateful to make an early breakthrough against the Casuals this week in the West Midlands League Premier Division.
After taking the lead inside the first 10 minutes they settled down to produce a solid team performance and deservedly get back on the winning trail.
Chris Allen struck in the eighth minute, volleying home a cross from Andy Crowther, to settle the home nerves.
They pressed forward and Tony McLean had a shot well saved before Crowther extended the lead before the break. He delicately chipped the keeper after Richard Fassnidge had brought the ball out of defence and laid it into his path.
Casuals reshuffled their formation at the break and caused a few anxious moments in the home defence without causing any real threat to the keeper.
Midway through the half McLean picked up a long ball from Danny Williams and deftly flicked into the path of Allen who tucked away his second to complete the scoring.
