POLICE smashed the windows on both sides of a car after stopping it for a drugs search.
The driver David Crutchlow had four grammes of crack cocaine and his passenger Alexander Bryson had six grammes of heroin.
The car had left Simon Talboys' address in St James Road, Hereford, which police then searched, said Michael Mills, prosecuting at Worcester Crown Court.
They found five grammes of heroin and a small wrap of crack cocaine in the house.
Talboys, aged 22, Crutchlow, 46, of St Devereux, Hereford, and 24-year-old Bryson, of Bath Road, Worcester, all admitted possession of drugs.
Judge John Cavell accepted the drugs were for personal use.
He gave Crutchlow six months jail, which meant his immediate release because he had served the equivalent on remand.
Bryson was given a two-year community rehabilitation and must carry out 75 hours community work. Talboys was also ordered to do 75 hours community work.
The car was stopped on August 2. Talboys said he paid £160 for his drugs and Bryson said he was using two bags of heroin a day, said Mr Mills.
Crutchlow, who was given 30 months' jail in 1991 for drugs' possession with intent to supply, refused to answer questions.
Talboys had a police caution for heroin possession in 2001 and Bryson had four convictions for burglary.
Dele Alakija, for Crutchlow, said the father of one was drug-free after rehab.
Nigel Hall, for Bryson, said he had stopped taking drugs while in custody on remand and had not used drugs since.
The judge ordered each defendant to pay £220 prosecution costs.
