CHILDREN in Need brings out the best - and the daftest - in everyone, and Herefordshire was no exception as a variety of events raised cash for the charity.
Seeing was believing when staff at Specsavers volunteered for a Big Brother style lock-in at the shop. Every day the housemate raising the least money was shown the door, while a series of bizarre tasks determined the quality of the food they ate. The winner, of course, was Children in Need, with more than £10,000 raised by the six contestants.
Shuttlecocks were at the ready at Leominster Leisure Centre as ECHO (Extra Choices in Herefordshire) rallied their way through a sponsored Badminton Bash.
