There was a setback for Tenbury in Worcester League Division 1 when they went down to their first defeat for several weeks, 2-1 to a well-organised Bromsgrove side.
Sarah Nightingale opened the scoring for Tenbury with a superb individual effort, weaving her way past six Bromsgrove players before cracking the ball into the net.
But Bromsgrove began to establish some control in the closing minutes of the first half and equalised with a powerfully-struck short corner and then took the lead following a goalmouth scramble.
Amy Euen and Nikki Edwards worked hard to no avail in trying to open up the visitors' defence and none of the well-struck short corners from Oli Linton found the net.
