HELP, help was the cry from 'Penelope Pitstop' who was waiting to be rescued by students during Lady Hawkins' School's own version of the cartoon Wacky Races.
The Kington school's team challenge involved the construction of a bridge over a river to rescue Penelope Pitstop with a high speed radio controlled racing car.
Enthusiastic teams of year six pupils from local primary schools led by sixth form students completed the task and produced a range of high quality bridges.
