A very special set of lights will adorn a 24-foot Christmas tree at St Peter's Church this December.
The Light up a Life campaign for St Michael's Hospice allows people to remember a loved one at Christmas time and donate money to the hospice by sponsoring a light on the tree.
Sylvia Jenkins, chairman of the hospice's Bromyard district support group, said: "It's a lovely event and we do it every year. All the support group girls light a candle when the Rev Graham Sykes reads out the names of the people who have had lights sponsored for them."
The tree will be lit at a special service at the church on Sunday, December 7, at 6.30pm, and mulled wine and mince pies will be served afterwards.
Anyone interested in sponsoring a light should contact Sylvia Jenkins on 01885 488445 or call into the hospice's shop in the High Street.
