TWO planning applications looked at by Bromyard Town Council this week failed to win its support.
The council would not back plans for a driveway off New Road for properties being built nearby.
The driveway would be on land next to Bromyard Fire Station but the majority of councillors decided there would not be a sufficient view of the road for drivers emerging from it.
Plans for a block of four stables on Pencombe Lane were not supported because of drainage issues.
The council's views will be sent to Herefordshire Council, which will make a final decision on both plans.
