Bromyard History Society is holding a host of festive events at its Sherford Street exhibition centre tomorrow (Saturday) to coincide with the switch-on of the town's Christmas lights, due to take place at 5.30pm.
George Storey, who first worked on the railways in Bromyard in 1924, will open the society's new Victorian exhibition at noon.
A huge variety of photographs, costumes and artefacts from the Victorian era will be displayed at the exhibition, which is running until the New Year. Local author and society member David Annett will be launching and signing his new book, The Churches of the Bromyard Deanery - an Informal Guide, all day tomorrow and a Christmas fair will be taking place between noon and 6pm.
