A HAY-ON-WYE mother has met with MPs to discuss plans for an Independent Judicial Inquiry to find and prosecute those responsible for the death of her son.
Isobel Hulsmann's continued search to find out why her son, Daniel Morgan, was killed with an axe in a Sydenham pub car park in 1987 lead her to the Westminster meeting on Tuesday. Following discussions, Brecon and Radnorshire MP Roger Williams said letters would be written to David Blunkett asking for an inquiry to take place.
Roger Williams said: "It has been the determination and vigour of Daniel Morgan's family that has kept this case alive. Whilst the likelihood of a successful prosecution is diminishing, the family are determined that lessons must be learnt from the horrific murder of their son."
